Studying the solar wind boundary of our solar system
The Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP) is a mission that will study the Sun’s heliosphere. It will investigate two important and coupled topics: interaction of the solar wind with the local interstellar medium and the acceleration of energetic particles.
