LASP provides ISO Class 7 cleanroom space for Assembly Integration and Test (AI&T) of space flight hardware for use by external customers. The cleanrooms are equipped with humidity and temperature control along with ESD precautions (including ESD floors) for safe handling of flight hardware. Testing bays within the cleanroom space are equipped with ESD safe ISO Class 5 flow benches for assembly of more contamination sensitive components or smaller assemblies. Control room access to hardware in the cleanroom bays is accessible via cable passthroughs and visible through windows. The cleanrooms have overhead cranes and clean nitrogen gas purge that pulls from LN2 boil off and is scrubbed for impurities.
