LASP Space Technology Research Center (LSTR)

The main LASP building is located on the University of Colorado Boulder’s East Campus Research Park. Built in 1991 and expanded in 2006, it includes most of our engineering and mission operations facilities as well as administrative offices.

Astrophysics Research Lab (ARL)

Located on CU Boulder’s East Campus, the Astrophysical Research Lab (ARL), includes the Rick Kohnert SmallSat Laboratory, LASP’s newest (10 meter diameter) vacuum chamber, called “Jimmy,” and additional research and office spaces.

IMPACT Dust Accelerator Lab (DAL)

Located on the northern side of CU Boulder’s East Campus, the IMPACT Lab houses a 3 MV linear electrostatic dust accelerator used for impact research activities.
