Mechanical Engineer
Biography
Antonia Warner started as a Mechanical Engineer at LASP in 2022. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2015, she worked at JPL on the Perseverance rover Sampling and Caching Subsystem until its launch in 2020. She then joined the mechanisms team at Blue Canyon Technologies for a year, working on small satellite solar array drives and reaction wheels. Since joining LASP, she has worked as a mechanical engineer on the instrument Libera - part of the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) that will study the emitted and reflected radiation from Earth. She is concurrently pursuing a Masters degree at CU in Aerospace Engineering, focusing on Remote Sensing.
