Mechanical Engineer
Biography
Darren has more than 2 decades of experience, developing cutting-edge instrumentation for astronomy, astrophysics, planetary and atmospheric science. He has worked across the entire spectrum from vacuum ultra-violet (100 nm) optical systems to mm-wave (100 GHz) receivers, and has contributed to numerous instruments operating in both ground-based and space-based observatories. His primary interests include: top-level system definition, high-precision opto-mechanics, and complex mechanisms.
