Biography
David is an astronomer working in the Colorado Ultraviolet Spectroscopy Program at LASP. His research focuses on ultraviolet and X-ray observations of low-mass stars, white dwarfs and binaries. In particular, David studies the aspects of stars relating to their planets, such as the impact of ultraviolet radiation from stars on planetary atmospheres, or the shattered remnants of planetary systems around white dwarfs. His favourite star is GD394, and his least favourite star is TRAPPIST-1.
