As a Team Lead within the Data Systems group at LASP, Heather is responsible for the resource allocation, performance management, and career development of her 14 team members. She also supports the development of science data processing systems for NASA's Libera and CLARREO (Climate Absolute Radiance and Refractivity Observatory) Pathfinder (CPF) missions, and the operations and maintenance of the Science Data Center for NASA's Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) mission. Prior to joining LASP in 2023, Heather served in a number of technical and leadership roles in support of NASA, NOAA, and ONR missions and projects.
