Integration and Test Engineer
Biography
Currently, Michael serves as the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) Manager for the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt (EMA) Program, which is slated for launch in February of 2028.
Michael has worked for LASP since 2017 on the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) spacecraft as a Test Engineer, Fault Protection Engineer and on TSIS-2 as the Integration and Test Lead. Michael previously also worked at Ball Aerospace as a Systems Operability Engineer, Spacecraft Test Engineer, and Spacecraft Test Technician on missions including NPOESS Preparatory Project (NPP), World View 3, Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS-1), P992, SkyFox, Aeromys, and APEX spacecraft programs. Additionally, Michael served in the United States Marine Corps for 5-years as a Data Chief (MOS 0659) for Marine Corps Security Forces Regiment in Norfolk, VA.
Michael has a B.S. Degree in Management Information Systems and Data Analytics.
