Michelle Salyer is a Communications Specialist in the Office of Communications Management, focusing on internal communications.She has worked in the space industry throughout her career, managing internal/external communications, crisis response, media relations, events, social media and proposal response for NASA contractors including BRPH and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on Florida’s Space Coast. A writer at heart, she also spent several years freelance writing, reporting and shooting photography for a number of publications. A strong believer in community service, Michelle is a Class of 2022 graduate of Leadership Brevard and has served on numerous boards, providing communications and marketing expertise for Central Florida organizations including SPEKTRUM Health, Space Coast Chamber of Commerce and Florida Wildlife Hospital. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of South Carolina and a certificate in Nonfiction Writing from the University of Washington.
