Flying to Tucson
You can fly directly into the Tucson International Airport (TUS) from many US and international cities. The airport is approximately 10 miles (20-minute drive) from the Marriott University Park. The hotel does not provide shuttle service, but there are easy options to get to the hotel if you are not renting a car. Once you are at the hotel, you won’t really need a car (good public transportation – see below). Try one of these (reservations recommended) for getting to the Marriott University Park:
- Yellow Cab, 520-300-0000, https://yellowcabaz.com/, ~ $30 one-way, available outside of the baggage claim area
- Stagecoach Express Shuttle, https://stagecoachexpressshuttle.com/
- Arizona Shuttle, 520-795-6771, https://www.arizonashuttle.com/tucson/
- Lyft, https://www.lyft.com/rider/cities/tucson-az
- Cool Cab Company, 520-308-1536, https://www.thecoolcab.com/

Local Transportation
Although you can’t reach the Marriott with public transportation from the airport, Tucson has a great local transit system called the Sun Tran, https://suntran.com/. This includes the Sun Tran buses and the Sun Link streetcar, http://www.sunlinkstreetcar.com/, which serves the area near the Marriott University Park, Historic 4th Avenue, and downtown Tucson. The schedule is at: http://www.sunlinkstreetcar.com/schedule/schedule. All meeting attendees will receive a complimentary 3-day pass in their registration packet.
