Data Quality information relating to the TIMAS PAPCO Module plots and in the underlying Common Data Format (CDF) Files.

Data Quality information is given in several varibles in the CDF skeleton table.

The Quality variable is set to one of the values below for each mass species at each time interval in the data file.

  • 0 - OK.
  • 1 - Some data missing.
  • 2 - Slight MCP saturation.
  • 3 - Moderate MCP saturation.
  • 4 - Severe MCP saturation.
  • 5 - No magnetometer data available.
  • 6 - (Internal processing) Warning flags set.
  • 99 - No valid data. "
