Data Quality information relating to the TIMAS PAPCO Module plots and in the underlying Common Data Format (CDF) Files.
Data Quality information is given in several varibles in the
CDF skeleton table.
The Quality variable is set to one of the values below for
each mass species at each time interval in the data file.
Quality variable Values/meanings
0 - OK.
1 - Some data missing.
2 - Slight MCP saturation.
3 - Moderate MCP saturation.
4 - Severe MCP saturation.
5 - No magnetometer data available.
6 - (Internal processing) Warning flags set.
99 - No valid data. "
QUALITY OPTIONS ON PAPCO PLOTS
NOTE These are not the same as the QUALITY VALUES in the data file described above
- High Quality plot option
- Pitch-Angle Plot - Quality Value < 2
- Energy Spectrum Plot - Quality Value < 2
- Adequate Quality plot option
- Pitch-Angle Plot - Quality Value < 4
- Energy Spectrum Plot - Quality Value < 4
