The Wednesday dinner speaker was Dr. Tom Bogdan, talking about "Some Historical Anecdotes on Living With This Star". Dr. Bodgan, among his many roles, is the HAO solar historian, and he entertained us with historical tidbits, both sensible and insensible.

The University of Colorado (LASP/CU) and the National Center for Atmospheric Research (HAO/NCAR) hosted this LWS Workshop. Both institutions are involved with the NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) satellite mission that is the first mission for the Living With a Star (LWS) program.
