CSSWE launch delayed for RBSP

August 10, 2012

ULA has not been able to resolve the Range issue in time for the upcoming Radiation Belt Storm Probes (RBSP) launch on August 23rd.  Once RBSP is safely in orbit, it will take a week to go through the checks and grant NROL-36 clearance, giving CSSWE an expected launch no earlier than August 30th.  However, a specific launch window will not be selected until the resolution of the Range issue.    Good luck to the RBSP team with their exciting mission!
