The BESSIG Boulder Earth and Space Science Informatics Group is intended to benefit and be a community sustained effortby its members.
What would you like to get from this groupthe BESSIG? And what What are you willing able to contribute? What do you see as the goals of the group? Towards that end, how would you like to see it organized?
This group could be simply a handful of people that go out to lunch a few times per year. Or we could have monthly planned, structured meetings with speakers. Or we could have special interest groups around topic areas. Or, we could go help out Habitat for Humanity or go for a hike. Or we could meet once, eat dinner, and call it good.
