Inter-comparison of the calibration results from different sources is important in understanding both the instrument response, and the uncertainties associated with the calibration techniques. It also helps to build confidence in the knowledge of the primary sources.

LASP thinks that an inter-calibration instrument on the detector plane of an XRS might provide a quick way of producing an instrument
