Testing
Testing the CubeSat and its components can be broken up into four categories as described below:
- Vibration
- Tests to ensure that the structure can withstand heavy launch vibration
- Thermal Vacuum
- Tests to verify functionality over temperature and pressure ranges expected in orbit
- Day in the Life
- A series of tests to ensure that the satellite can perform all necessary tasks
- Instrument
- Individual testing of the onboard instruments
