Due to expected increased solar activity, the science and operations team has decided to perform a MEGS-B flare campaign. EVE will execute a 24-hour continuous observing sequence starting Oct 18, 2010 (day 291) at 16:00 UT. Normal daily calibrations will not be performed, and the MEGS-B and MEGS-P channels will be exposed continuously. EVE will return to normal operations Oct 19, 2010 at 16:00 UT.
