MEGS-B Flare Campaign

Due to expected increased solar activity, the science and operations team has decided to perform a MEGS-B flare campaign. EVE will execute a 24-hour continuous observing sequence starting November 3, 2011 (day 265) at 16:00 UT. Normal daily calibrations will not be performed, and the MEGS-B and MEGS-P channels will be exposed continuously. EVE will return to normal operations November 4, 2011 at 16:00 UT.

Update: an X1.9 flare was captured during this campaign.
