Draft rollout notice/instruction (04/06/23)

The Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) mission announces public rollout of Digital Object Identifiers (DOI)
for the mission's data products.
The Mission requests users of its data products to cite a data set by its DOI in the same manner as citing a journal paper in a publication.
Data sets from different spacecraft have their different DOI.
The root directory to locate the DOI for each of the MMS data sets is
https://hpde.io/NASA/NumericalData/MMS/
.

As an example, to cite the burst FGM data set, a user is to follow the directory tree to the landing page of its DOI
https://doi.org/10.48322/pj0n-m695
.
If the fast survey FGM data set is referenced, the DOI to use is
https://doi.org/10.48322/mxbx-r466
.
The usage of a DOI link for each data set is analogous to a paper's DOI page, for example,
https://doi.org/10.1029/2018JA025245
.

The key difference is that the MMS data product DOI pages are live and are subjected to updates by the respective instrument teams whenever necessary.
