WAVE investigators published a paper entitled ‘Characteristics of gravity wave horizontal phase velocity spectra in the mesosphere over the Antarctic stations, Syowa and Davis’

WAVE investigators published a paper entitled “Characteristics of gravity wave horizontal phase velocity spectra in the mesosphere over the Antarctic stations, Syowa and Davis”. 

The paper presents differences in gravity wave activity at two Antarctic locations. They found that higher gravity wave power in the eastward high phase velocity domain at Davis was contributed to by secondary waves.
