These plots show the flight track of the J-31.  X-axis is longitude in degrees, Y-axis is latitude in degrees.

QUICKLOOKS

The plots on the upper panel show downwelling spectral irradiance (left) and upwelling spectral irradiance or albedo (right). Irradiance is the budget-relevant hemispherically integrated cosine-weighted radiance. The plots show time series of a few selected wavelengths, in units of Watts per m^2 and nm. The lower panel shows the aircraft attitude and solar zenith angle (left), and the altitude (right). The aircraft attitude is needed to correct for the relative inclination of the SSFR optical inlet relative to the horizontal.

ALBEDO DATA        

These plots show time series of spectral albedo as 2D images, where time runs from top down, and wavelength from left (350 nm) to right (2150 nm). High values are colored red, low values blue. The water vapor absorption bands are clearly visible as blue regions. The data still contain so-called dark measurements (mostly homogeneous color at the beginning and the end of the flights), which have not been filtered out in this quicklook version.
