David Gathright started working at LASP as a graduate student writing Flight Software for the SORCE Microprocessor Unit, working closely with Operations personnel in managing the command and telemetry database and with Orbital Sciences personnel in using OASIS-CC during Observatory Integration and Test. Since then, David has written flight and ground software for and participated in the design, development, integration, testing, and/or flight operation of over 6 spacecraft and 18 instruments. He has served as a Flight Software Engineer, Integration and Test Engineer, System Engineer, and now primarily serves as a Project Manager in the LASP Engineering Division.
