Courtney rejoined LASP in 2023 as a Software Engineer working in the Data Systems group within Mission Operations and Data Systems (MODS). Courtney previously worked at LASP as a graduate student researcher where she completed her PhD in physics in 2018 focused on radiative output from the solar photosphere. Prior to rejoining LASP, Courtney worked as a Research Scientist at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) working on calibration, validation, and scientific algorithm development for the Extreme Ultraviolet and X-ray Irradiance Sensors (EXIS) onboard the NOAA GOES-R spacecraft.
