Data Systems Software Engineer
Biography
Tim works in the Datasystems division at LASP as a Software Engineer IV. He earned a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a focus on Dynamics and Controls. He has nearly 20 years of experience in Software Engineering much of which has been focused on algorithm development, analysis, and visualization of scientific data. He is the Science Data Processing Team Lead for the NASA Global-scale Observations of the Limb and Disk (GOLD) and Emirates Mars Ultraviolet Spectrometer (EMUS) projects. Tim is driven to produce robust software capable of delivering high-quality calibrated data products to scientists in order to support their science objectives.
