Vikas's research interests lie at the intersection of remote sensing and machine learning. Part of Sebastian Schmidt's AIRS (Atmospheric Imaging, Radiation & Remote Sensing) group, Vikas works on novel approaches to solving problems in retrievals of cloud parameters. His research centers around cloud-aerosol interactions and their influence on regional and global climate systems.
