Biography
Dr. Sternovsky's professional interests include laboratory plasma physics and related experimental measurements, and developing instruments for space. He has been the instrument scientist on two sounding rocket campaigns and more recently for the Lunar Dust EXperiment (LDEX) instrument launched onboard Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) spacecraft. Currently he works on the development of a dust analyzer for the upcoming Europa mission by NASA.
