MMS Community Science Workshop #5

MMS Science Working Team Meeting, 2019 --> Joint with NSF GEM Workshop

23-28 June 2019, Santa Fe, NM – website

(CEDAR-GEM joint meeting on June 22nd, Student day on June 23rd, regular GEM week on June 24th - 28th)

  • Early Bird Registration Deadline: May 15th, 2019 by midnight at the end of the day
  • Late Registration Starts: May 16th, 2019
  • Deadline for poster submissions: May 31, 2019
  • MMS SWT:
    • no need to register in the NASA Conference Tracking System (NCTS)
    • MMS ITF Splinters on Sunday, June 23
    • SWG will be either Sunday evening over dinner ($), breakfast on Tues or Wed, or over dinner on Mon/Tues ($) as our PI/PS prefer and potential GEM conflicts allow
    • GEM Schedule blocks
    • As much as possible, MMS Science Splinters will be concurrent with the appropriate GEM Focus Topic Sessions
    • We will also schedule separate splinters for topics that would normally be limited to MMS science and interests, which might be in conflict with a GEM Plenary although we will seek to minimize those overlaps.
    • Contract travelers from the same institution should share rental vehicles, or better yet please take a shuttle from the airport
