Flying to Tucson

Getting to TucsonYou can fly directly into the Tucson International Airport (TUS) from many US and international cities.  The airport is approximately 10 miles (20-minute drive) from the Marriott University Park.  The hotel does not provide shuttle service, but there are easy options to get to the hotel if you are not renting a car.  Once you are at the hotel, you won’t really need a car (good public transportation – see below).  Try one of these (reservations recommended) for getting to the Marriott University Park:

Driving to the Marriott University Park

Your destination:  880 East 2nd Street, Tucson, AZ  85719.
Visit the Marriott website for more information:   http://marriott-university-park.hotelsintucsonarizona.com/.

Parking:  We have a special $9 rate negotiated at the Marriott.

Local Transportation

Although you can’t reach the Marriott with public transportation from the airport, Tucson has a great local transit system called the Sun Tran, https://suntran.com/.  This includes the Sun Tran buses and the Sun Link streetcar, http://www.sunlinkstreetcar.com/, which serves the area near the Marriott University Park, Historic 4th Avenue, and downtown Tucson.  The schedule is at:  http://www.sunlinkstreetcar.com/schedule/schedule.  All meeting attendees will receive a complimentary 3-day pass in their registration packet.
